I would like to surprise my son after his Grad Night at Disneyland. I am hoping to meet him at the Disneyland Hotel to surprise him with a celebration vacation. Do students attending the Grad Night event have to use the school transportation both ways?

A warm planDisney welcome from all of us to you, Jennifer. We're so glad you came back to visit us with this question and I'm delighted to help.

How wonderful that your son will be graduating next year! It's almost hard to believe that we're already planning for 2025 Grad Nites at the Disneyland Resort. It's also exciting to hear that you'd like to surprise him with a celebratory vacation to mark the momentous occasion and achievement. I can't think of a better (or more magical) surprise. It's my understanding that all students must arrive together with their school in buses, large vans or chaperone-driven vehicles. I also recommend double-checking directly with the school as they will be making all of the transportation arrangements.

It's going to be an amazing night for your son to celebrate with friends. The Grad Nites earlier this year took place during Pixar Fest and there was so much extra fun to experience. Next year, Disneyland will be celebrating its 70th anniversary and who knows what kind of magic will be in store. There's bound to be a great celebration. Keep an eye on Disney Parks Blog for announcements and details.

Well, Jennifer, I hope this has been helpful. Please come back to visit us with any other questions you might be curious about. Until then, here's wishing your son a wonderful school year and a magical evening at Grad Nite in 2025.
