During Grad Night at California Adventure, should my student down load the mobile app to purchase food?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Lisa. It's that time of the year when everything is in bloom and school is almost out for summer, which also means a bevy of Grad Nites at the Disneyland Resort.

I'm so glad to hear that your student will be attending one of these nights to celebrate their scholastic accomplishments! I think it's a great idea to have them download the Disneyland app to take advantage of the mobile food & beverage ordering feature. For payment, I recommend giving your student a Disney Gift Card to use in the app. There's even a feature in the app to scan your gift card for an easy breezy payment. A quick tip: they can start lining up mobile orders in the app earlier in the day and have the flexibility to change the time of their pick-up window should their plans change.

If your student will be enjoying the parks before the Grad Nite party officially starts, they will get to enjoy the festivities of Pixar Fest. There's so much fun to experience (in both parks) from Pixar-themed food to the parade, "Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!" in Disney California Adventure Park. I really enjoyed seeing so many beloved Pixar characters in the parade and the music is so catchy.

Lisa, I hope this information is helpful as your student is getting ready for their Grad Nite event. Here's hoping they have a magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth!

    Adventure is out there!
