I want to surprise my mother (60) and take her to Disney. When is the best time to go for very low crowds, weather and cheapest? Her birthday is in February. Is that a good month, March or April better? We would be flying in for long weekend (Fri-Mon)

    Hi Julie!

I personally love Disney in early February, before winter break begins for schools in the North East. We've often visited during the first week of February for the low crowds and cooler weather.

Of course, being Florida, the weather can often vary from being chilly to being hot enough to swim! Usually, we'll need a light sweater in late evenings, but can wear shorts and bathing suits during the day.

If you can be flexible, the lowest crowds will be when school is in session. March and April can often be higher than February, since spring break and Easter often mean extra school holidays!

Hope you have a great trip!
