    Would like to surprise DW w/20th ann trip in Dec. She would love to see the dlx resorts decorations. Is it possible to see dlx resorts other than MK resorts by taking a day and traveling to them by the buses? We'll see the MK resorts while staying there.

    How romantic! A surprise Disney World vacation is a perfect way to celebrate your big milestone!

    The Christmas holiday season is my favorite time to visit Disney World, not only because of the special events and shows going on, but also to see all the amazing holiday decorations. We love resort hopping to view the various decorations. You are absolutely able and welcome to visit as many of the Disney World resorts as you would like. There are some great restaurants, lounges and merchandise shops at the resorts too so allow plenty of time to explore and maybe even shop or have a meal.

    Unfortunately there are no buses that offer transportation from resort to resort, so the only problem with your plan is you will need to do a little bus hopping. You can always take a bus from your resort to any theme park or Downtown Disney and switch to a bus for the resort you would like to visit. If you are staying at a Magic Kingdom monorail resort, it will also be pretty easy for you to take the monorail to Magic Kingdom and hop on a Disney bus there. If you would like to visit the Epcot deluxe resorts, another choice would be to take the monorail to Epcot and walk through the park and exit through the World Showcase back exit. You will be able to walk to visit the Boardwalk, Beach and Yacht Club resorts.
