How do I make sure my friends and family are linked together begore trying to get in virtual queu for Tron

    Hey there, Libby!

Thanks for stopping by with this question. I'm usually the CEO of my group's vacation plans so I understand your desire to make sure all your i's are dotted and t's are crossed before that 7 a.m. Virtual Queue countdown begins.

I recently answered a similar question for another guest about linking everyone via the Family & Friends list. You'll be able to manually input guests using their name and date of birth, add via their linking code in the My Disney Experience App, or connect online through their Walt Disney World Resort confirmation number and last name. Guests will receive an email invitation inviting them to connect and once accepted, you'll be able to manage plans for them or make plans together. Be sure the appropriate permissions are set for each guest then double-check that everyone's theme park tickets are linked to their accounts and theme park reservations are made. Keep in mind you will need to have a theme park reservation for the park where you plan to join the Virtual Queue. You can review the updated theme park reservation policies, if you will be visiting on or after January 9, 2024

On the morning of your visit, you can pre-select your boarding group partners before it's time to join the Virtual Queue. You should see a list of all eligible guests on your Family & Friends list and you can add or remove checkmarks next to their name to include them in your plans. At 7 a.m. pull down on your screen or select the "Refresh" button to join the Virtual Queue. I usually like to have another guest give me a countdown a few seconds before 7 a.m. so I can hit refresh as soon as the clock changes.

If you aren't successful in your first attempt you should have another chance to join the 1 p.m. Virtual Queue. Keep in mind you will need to be in the appropriate park to join at that time. If you run into any issues or need assistance managing your Family & Friends list you can contact a Cast Member by phone in advance of your visit or chat with the Guest Experience Team typically stationed under blue umbrellas in the parks. They were able to help me with a technical issue during my August visit, so don't hesitate to ask for assistance.

I hope this was helpful Libby. If we can answer any additional planning questions please come right back and let us know.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
