Hi Moms, Super excited to be going to WDW with my hubby for the first time in decades next month. We have reservations for 8:30 HDD on a day that MK is open late. How long should I plan for it to take us to get back to MK after the show? Thanks.

    Hi Paige!

How wonderful that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort next month!  There will be so much to see and do, and many things that will be completely new for you!  I highly recommend checking out some of the questions and answers on the Disney Parks Moms Panel site to read up on some of the new and exciting attractions and entertainment happening now at the Disney Parks.

You and your husband will have a rootin', tootin' time at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue!  Located in Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, you will be able to enjoy ribs, chicken, baked beans and more while treated to live entertainment by the Pioneer Players!  You'll even have a chance to become part of the show!

As HDD typically lasts about two hours, you'll be looking at heading to MK at, or around, 10:30 p.m.  You will be close enough that the drive over to the Transportation and Ticket Center should be short, perhaps all of 10 minutes.  You will need to take the Ferryboat over to the TTC, as the monorail will cease operation one hour after general park closing time.  All in all, you should budget anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour from the time you leave HDDR to the time you'll be stepping past the MK turnstiles.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
