Welcome to planDisney, Samantha! We're so glad you're here.
A first visit to Disneyland Resort? That is definitely something worth celebrating! I have no doubt there is magic waiting for you around every corner of 'The Happiest Place on Earth.' I'm very glad to hear that you've purchased your theme park tickets and have been successful in linking them to your Disney account. You can do this both within the
official Disneyland mobile app and online using the "
Link Tickets" page. Once your tickets are linked in your account, you'll be able to view your confirmed theme park reservations in the "Future Plans" section of the app, or the "
My Plans" section of the Disneyland website, under your account. With your valid
theme park ticket and park reservations confirmed, you're going to be all set for entry on the first day of your visit!
I'm happy to report that once you scan your tickets at the turnstiles, you will be provided with a physical copy of the ticket (they're typically printed on thick, card-stock paper). They frequently feature fun Disney-themed designs and my kids often like to keep them as a little souvenir of their visits over the years. Samantha, if you'd like, you can bring either the eTicket barcode or QR code printed as you mentioned or you can feel welcome to show your digital barcode in the "Tickets and Passes" section of the Disneyland mobile app.
I hope this has been helpful for now, Samantha. Please don't hesitate to
reach out if you have other questions that come up as you continue planning your very first trip later this year! In fact, I'll share a link to a recent episode of the
planDisney podcast that was designed specifically with Guests like you in mind! My friend
Al C. and I share our favorite tricks and tips when planning your first-ever visit to Disneyland Resort. I hope you enjoy it and find it useful!
Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
