    When do summer special offers arrive? I'd like to book now for August, but all they have are spring offers right now. Also could the offer be added to my itinerary after I book?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Heather! Walt Disney World Resort does offer great room and package discounts frequently throughout the year. You are more than welcome to book your choice of Resort hotel now if you would like. When a Special Offer is released for your travel period, you can easily have it applied to your reservation. However, understand that there may be excluded Resort hotels, room types, or dates. Because of this, many Guests will modify their travel dates or change Resort hotels to fit the qualifications of the Special Offer. Simply call (407) W-DISNEY, or (407) 934-7639, give the Cast Member your reservation number, and let them know you would like to apply the Special Offer to your reservation. They will be able to help you determine if you are able to apply the Special Offer to your current Resort stay, or if you will need to modify any portion of your reservation so that it can be applied.

    There is no set time when or if Special Offers on Resort rates or packages will be announced. However, there are many websites out there that do keep track of released Walt Disney World discounts. Looking over a few of them, I see that Special Offers for the late summer tend to start arriving around mid-March. Stay tuned to the Walt Disney World Resort Special Offers page this spring to watch for one that best fits your family’s trip this August!
