    Hello all! When does the "summer crowd" usually begin? If you were going to plan a trip during the summer months ,which would you choose for both weather and crowds? Thanks a million!!!

    Hi Lisa,

    The summer crowds start after Memorial Day and then taper off after the second week of August as the kids head back to school.

    If it was me, I would head to Disney after the second week of August as the crowds are lighter. You might be able to find a deal on the rooms or dining as well.

    As for the weather, unless you are there in the first week of June, it is going to be hot. However, by August you are adjusted to the heat and humidity and the thunderstorms blow in daily to cool things off. While there is the rare chance of the hurricane, I still enjoy the summer at Walt Disney World. I can enjoy the pool and the water parks and not have a care in the world. Plus I am recharged for the upcoming fall season!
