    Are the Suites at the Music Resort clean, roomy and comfortable? Have a child under two with severe peanut allergy. Also is this a good resort for small children as far as activities?

    Hi Carol,

    I have visited the All Star Music Family Suites and they are clean, roomy and comfortable. There is a living area, bedroom with bath, a kitchenette and another bathroom to spread out. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, microwave, sink and storage area for you to make small meals here. It also has disposable paper products for you to use.

    With your child's peanut allergy, you may want to call the resort (407-939-6000) and ask them if they do any "extra" cleaning for a guest with severe peanut allergies. When my children were little, we packed peanut butter sandwiches to go into the park and I could see other families doing the same thing. This could mean peanut butter may not be confined to just the kitchen area as not all guests are diligent about allergies as parents of children with them. I do not think they offer peanut free rooms so this is why I would call the resort. In truth, I am not sure any resort room would have that restriction.

    You will also want to note on all of your dining reservations that you have a peanut allergy. The chef can talk to you about your dining options.

    As for activities, there is swimming in two pools, a playground and movies under the stars. The drawback for this resort is you will travel on buses to all the parks. With a stroller, it can be extra tight finding a seat and holding a stroller. I like this resort for older children so you do not need to worry about a stroller and a child.
