Are there any suites or cabins that would allow a larger group to stay together (4 adults, 4 kids)? Do any of the hotels have adjoining rooms w/ a door btw them so the kids can pass through w/o going outside?

    Hi Michelle,

Greetings from a fellow Hoosier! I'm excited to hear that you're planning a trip to "The Most Magical Place on Earth" with lots of special Mouseketeers in your life! You're going to have such an AMAZING time and will make memories together that you'll all cherish forever!

As a mama of five with a large immediate family, I'm happy to let you know that yes, there are lots of great options for large parties who want to stay together at the Walt Disney World Resort. For a party of eight, I'd highly recommend a 2-Bedroom Deluxe Villa. Not only will you be able to comfortably sleep everyone, but you'll also be able to enjoy a living room, full kitchen, washer and dryer, patio or balcony, and at least two full bathrooms. You'll truly feel like you're at home away from home! Booking two Disney Resort hotel rooms and requesting that they be adjoining (which in "Disney speak" means nearby, as in next door or across the hall) or connected (which in "Disney speak" means next door with a door connecting them) is another great option. Most of the room categories at all of the Disney Resort hotels do offer connected rooms as an option, but I'd be sure to confirm that's what you'd like when you make your reservation to be sure that will be possible. While Disney can't guarantee room requests, they'll do everything they can to try to meet your needs.

I'm so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michelle, and please feel free to come see us again if we can help with anything else as you're planning your trip. I hope that you all have a truly magical vacation!
