Do we have to get a suite if a standard room has 2 queens and 1 day bed. We have 4 adults 2 small kids that can fit the day bed just fine.

    Welcome to planDisney, Alicia!

I am so excited about your upcoming trip to Disneyland Resort! We have flown across the country multiple times to experience "The Happiest Place on Earth," and we are never disappointed. Let's look at options for your party to stay well-rested for action-packed days at Disneyland Park and Disneyland California Adventure

I chatted with a Cast Member at Disneyland Resort, and they confirmed that the maximum occupancy rate for a standard-size room was five, adults or children. They mentioned that the day bed was only a twin size, which would make it difficult for two people to fit. Additionally, you would likely be more comfortable in a larger hotel space with multiple rooms, especially if the little ones need a rest break during the day. An alternative recommendation would be to consider Good Neighbor Hotels. They are all near Disneyland Resort and provide expanded options for suites and hotel rooms with higher occupancies. While you are visiting Disneyland Resort, make sure you check out the newest, dazzling nighttime spectaculars, Wondrous Journeys and World of Color- ONE. Also, the kids will love the latest addition to Disneyland Park, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway

Thank you for visiting planDisney. We are ready to help with all your Disneyland Resort adventures!

    Enjoy making magical memories!
