Hi Barbara!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We have also traveled with as many as 3 separate strollers to Walt Disney World! There are a few schools of thought on strollers, and I don’t think there is one best answer, but what is best for your family may vary.
Your first option is to bring your strollers from home. I try to travel on a budget, and I always felt I needed the strollers for the airport, so this is what we did. We would bring umbrella style strollers that were lightweight and easy to fold up. If you will be bringing your strollers, please know that
per Disney policy it must be 31” wide and 52” long or smaller to be allowed into the theme parks.
Your next option is to
rent strollers in the theme parks. This option works well for bigger kids who are independent enough for the airport and getting to the parks for the day, but are still too small to plan on walking a lot of miles through the day. You can rent single and double strollers in the theme parks, and you may do a daily or length of stay rental.
The last option is to rent a stroller from an outside company. ScooterBug is the Disney Featured Provider, and they can deliver and pick up your strollers to and from your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel! While you won’t have your strollers for the airport if needed, you will have them to use at your resort, take to Disney Springs with you, and even just to get little tired legs from the parking lot to the theme park entrance. If you won’t be bringing your own, I think this is the best choice. There are also several other local Orlando stroller rental companies you may wish to consider, but you would need to arrange self pick-up of your stroller as it cannot be left with Disney Bell Services.
I hope this helps as you decide the best option for your little Mouseketeers!
Happy Strolling!
