Any suggestions on how to resolve the wrong date reservation without waiting on phone for an hour or more until customer service answer the phone?

Hiya, Rhoda! Thanks so much for your question.

I seriously feel your pain when it comes to calling into Walt Disney World right now. With people feeling more comfortable about traveling and rebooking vacations they've had to cancel over the past two years, the phones seem like they are busier than ever.

In most cases, though, Rhoda, you can modify your existing reservation right through your My Disney Experience account. Once you log in, scroll down past where it says "Rhoda's Plans, Reservations, and Tickets." You should see your resort reservation here, and there should be a button to click that says "Modify Reservation." Hopefully, this works smoothly, and you can change the dates to when you need them. If for any reason you can't make this change, there is a Cast Member available to help you. I know, the wait is long, but if you call 407-934-7639, there's music! And you can do all those fun things you always put off for another time. I cleaned out all of the mismatched socks in my house just this past week while I was on hold, Rhoda.

I can offer this suggestion. The phones open at 7 AM and close at 11 PM. Try to be on the phone first thing in the morning or towards the end of the night. That's when I usually find the wait times to be a bit shorter.

I hope everything works out and you get your dates sorted. If I can help with anything else, please come back and see us.
