Hey howdy hey Cyndi,
Thanks for stopping back at planDisney with this great question. As a mom of some very hungry young men, we have spent lots of time scoping out menus and eating our way through
Walt Disney World Resort. And since it seems that we can rarely agree on what we have a taste for, restaurants that offer a variety of options are always at the top of our list.
Plenty of time at
Disney Springs is a must for any vacation! With over 100
shopping options, tons of
entertainment choices and
60 plus locations for you to grab a beverage, snack or meal, there is plenty to please everyone. While we have not had a bad meal at any Disney Springs restaurant, we certainly have our favorites. One of these is
Morimoto Asia which offers pan-Asian menu selections in an elegant environment. The one drawback to this option is they do not have a wide selection of choices, so unless you are in the mood for Japanese, Korean or Chinese, you may have a hard time pleasing everyone. Another great choice is
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'. This is an extremely popular restaurant, so walk-up seating may not always be available so I strongly suggest advanced dining reservations. And while this location may not have the largest menu selection, the menu features delicious Southern style cuisine with a touch of Florida agriculture. It is comfort food at its finest (the fried chicken is heavenly) and the servings will definitely fill you up. The one table option that seems to always please everyone in our clan, is
The BOATHOUSE®. If you are a seafood lover, it will definitely make you jump for joy with its selections of fresh fish, Maine Lobster tail and more. Plus there are plenty of options for the land lovers who may prefer a salad or sandwich.
Now , if you are looking for something a little faster, we think the perfect counter service location is
Earl of Sandwich®. The menu is quite large with a sandwich choice that would fit anyone's taste buds, and if you do not feel like a sandwich, there are also salads and wraps that are equally as delicious. We have to stop here at least once every trip, and often stop by before heading to the airport to grab a sandwich for the flight home. It is a definite two thumbs up from our family.
Hopefully some of these options will fill the rumbly in your whole family's tumbly. My best suggestion is to take a look at the menu selections for any location you are interested in. While the menus are always subject to change, the choices will tell you a great deal about the cuisine they offer and how wide the variety is. If I can help with any additional planning questions, I hope you will stop back and
see me.
Hope to see ya real soon,
Margaret
