Suggestions on the "not to miss" experiences? Looking especially for ones that aren't as well known such as the Fantasmic Dessert Experience, etc. Traveling w/ 2, 5 and 7 year olds. Thanks!!

    Hello Nancy,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm thrilled to hEAR you have an upcoming trip to The Happiest Place on Earth.

Some of my favorite not-to-miss attractions are: the newly refurbished Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough at Disneyland Park, all of Disney California Adventure (specifically: The Little Mermaid - Ariel's Undersea Adventure, Radiator Springs Racers, and well all of Cars Land).

Be sure to catch Mickey's Soundsational Parade while at Disneyland Park - a new wintery twist has been added with some of our favorite Frozen Characters pre-show to "melt our hearts!"

Carthay Circle Restaurant is a must-see and their menu is exquisite, you will want to try their Rose Petal Soda or the Carthay Club Mojito, these being a tribute to the "Golden Age" of Hollywood.

Take some time to see Mickey and the Magical Map, this live musical show is one not to miss! Also be sure to take your kids over to Fantasy Faire; this is all about Disney Princesses with Character Meet 'N' Greets, show, snacks, and more.

Even though there are so many attractions at the Disneyland Resort that can accommodate your entire family to ride with no height restrictions, there may be some that only half of your party may be able to ride. For those attractions, you may need to utilize the Rider Switch Pass during your visit to the parks. Guests should notify the Cast Member upon entering the normal queue line that they would like to utilize the Rider Switch.

I hope this helps, I'm limited on space. I hope you have a pixie-dusted time on your visit. If you have any more questions, please visit us here and let us know how we can help you plan your pixie dusted vacation.

    Wishing you magic!
