Hello, suggestions on how to go to the parks faster when staying at All stars resort during 6/26-6/27? We will have our own vehicle. But will like to use the free transportation if possible. Thanks

    Hey there, John.

I see you're getting a head start on planning to ensure everything for your upcoming adventure to Walt Disney World Resort is practically perfect in every way. I love a good planner! Let's dive into your question.

You're staying at one of Disney's All-Star Resorts soon! I actually enjoyed Disney's All-Star Sports Resort myself last month. It was the very first resort I visited nine years ago, and I've been hooked ever since. Get ready for some amazing sleep, because the beds are incredibly comfortable. There are so many fantastic benefits for Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels. My personal favorites are Early Theme Park Entry and complimentary transportation, because the last thing I want to do on vacation is drive.

In my opinion, the best way to start every morning is by ‘rope dropping.’ This means arriving at the theme park gates 30 to 60 minutes before opening. I love getting there early and enjoying my favorite attractions before the crowds arrive. If you want to get into the parks as quickly as possible, I recommend lining up for the first bus 30 to 40 minutes before it arrives. This way, you're sure to get a seat. By rope dropping during Early Theme Park Entry, you'll be among the first in the park. Name a better duo! Plus, by using the complimentary transportation, you don't have to pay for parking at the theme parks, which is required if you drive your own car (unless you're an Annual Passholder).

You're visiting at the perfect time. Cool KIDS’ SUMMER is in full swing, and there are so many exciting events happening! You’ll receive free entry to either water park on your check-in day, and some of your favorite Disney characters will stop by your resort throughout the day. I had a dance party with Daisy before hopping on the bus to Magic Kingdom Park, truly a magical experience!

John, it's been a pleasure helping you today. I hope you enjoy your stay and make magical memories! Your trip will be here before you know it. Come back and see me anytime.

    Your personal planning companion,
    Michelle
