Hi Lourainia!
My family will be visiting Walt Disney World over Thanksgiving for the first time this year, so I've been doing a little research of my own on this very topic! Restaurants will be open, as usual, on Thanksgiving Day and many will be offering a special menu of traditional fare, like turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy and vegetables. Last year, the full list of dining options was
officially announced on the Disney Parks Blog in mid-November, so you can keep an eye on that site, but you'll definitely want to get your dining reservations well before then, if possible. Here are some of the Thanksgiving feasts that made my own list of possibilities:
Magic Kingdom: Liberty Tree Tavern offers traditional American fare in a colonial setting every day of the year, so it's a guaranteed authentic experience on Thanksgiving.
Disney's Hollywood Studios: For Thanksgiving dinner like Mom would make, 50's Prime Time Café would be a fun choice. Just be sure to mind your manners and eat your vegetables!
Epcot: Le Cellier Steakhouse in Canada and Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room in the United Kingdom both typically offer lunch and dinner options.
Disney's Animal Kingdom: Tusker House Restaurant is a popular choice for both lunch and dinner.
Outside the theme parks, I've read fantastic reviews of the offerings at Artist Point at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Raglan Road at Downtown Disney, as well.
I hope your family gobbles up a whole lot of fun and a delicious Thanksgiving meal during your trip!
Have a magical day!
Beth
