    Hi Sue. Thank you for your response to my original question bout character breakfasts for our trip. Our son is very toy story mad, are any of them themed to that. Or are most of the character dinings around the key traditional characters?

    Welcome back to planDisney.

    I'm very happy to hear that your son loves Toy Story!  It's my favourite of all the Disney franchises, even though I am several decades older than your son - it just proves that Disney is for everyone!

    You have to visit Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  This will be utopia for your son!  There are rides and attractions, shops, restaurants (I'll get to those later) and photo opportunities galore.  

    There is one table-service restaurant - Roundup Rodeo BBQ - which accepts reservations at 60 days in advance (highly recommended).  While there are no actual live characters inside the restaurant, it is themed to the hilt, from the viewpoint of the toys.  There may also be some entertainment and interactive play while you are there.  Don't tell anyone, but if you hear "Andy's coming!!!" watch what happens next!  It's so much fun, I suspect your son won't even notice there are no characters walking around.   Disney Parks produced this YouTube video, giving you a guided tour around the restaurant - you'll see what I mean!  It's amazing!

    There's also a quick-service kiosk - Woody's Lunchbox - which requires no reservations and offers outside seating only. 

    There will be character meet & greets around Toy Story Land with Woody, Buzz, and Jesse. The Green Army Drum Corps also make several noisy appearances throughout the day.
