Hi Christopher,
I can not think of a more magical way to spend Christmas than exploring Disney World. It is even better when you have friends and family along for the adventure!
The only way to request adjoining or connecting rooms at Disney World is by calling
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations. Before calling, make sure you have information for both of your reservations including the main guest on the reservation and the reservation number to help them find your information quickly. Specify "adjoining" or "connecting" rooms when you call to make the request. Adjoining rooms are close to each other while connecting rooms have a door that directly links them. Keep in mind that this is just a request. Disney World will do its best to honor all room requests but they are not guaranteed.
Your son is going to have an epic birthday celebration. Make sure to add a note that you are celebrating to all of your advanced dining reservations or Enchanting Extras bookings so they know! This doesn't guarantee any special attention, but sometimes, they are able to make a little bit of magic happen. If you want to make some magic on your own, order a
specialty cake to be delivered to your dining reservation or your Disney Resort hotel. These cakes are delicious and a great way to celebrate any occasion.
No birthday celebration is complete without a fabulous dinner out. I suggest booking this as early as possible to ensure you get your son's first choice. Character dining experiences are one of my favorite ways to celebrate because you can also get tons of pictures with your favorite Disney friends while eating a delicious meal.
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White is a great option during this time of year because you can explore the beautiful decorations at Disney's Wilderness Lodge before or after dinner. During dinner, you will get to meet Snow White and get a picture with the Evil Queen!
Happy Planning,
Jenna
