    Do the studios at the poly have washer and dryers

    Hi Sharon!

    I have just returned from a lovely stay at the new Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. I actually took a look at the laundry situation before I departed today, so I wanted to be sure to answer your question! The Deluxe Studios do not have their own washer and dryer in the room. However, there are laundry facilities available for Guests. There is a 24 hour self service laundry facility for all Guests available near Lilo's Playhouse. There is also detergent there available for purchase.

    For Disney Vacation Club Members, complimentary laundry facilities are available at each of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts. All laundry rooms have recently be updated, so like the facilities at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, you can actually check on the status of your machines using your smart phone. I love this feature! You can relax in your room or by the pool, then return when your machine is complete. If you choose to stay with your belongings, there was a nice seating area and a big screen television in the laundry room for Members to enjoy while they wait. If you are a Member, you will need your Magic Band to gain access, so be sure to bring it with you to the laundry room.

    If you are planning to do laundry on vacation, my insider tip is to bring detergent pods from home. I pack a few in hard-sided plastic container so I don't need to worry about buying detergent while I am there. I hope this helps to answer your question Sharon!
