We have a student ticket for a class trip but may not be able to go on that date with the school. Can we use that ticket on a future visit ?

Hi Henry, and welcome to planDisney!

I’m sorry to hear that your plans have shifted and that you may not be able to use your student ticket on the same date as your school. I completely understand how disappointing that can be. But don’t worry, I’m happy to share some helpful information about your options to keep the magic alive.

Unfortunately, that exact ticket cannot be used for a future visit. However, I spoke with a wonderful Cast Member named Stephanie at the Disneyland Ticketing line, and she provided a couple of options for you. First, you can receive a refund for up to 10% of the ticket’s value. Alternatively, you can apply the value of your student ticket toward the purchase of a new ticket, allowing you to visit on a different day.

If you choose to put the value of your ticket toward a new one, you might want to consider one of the current special ticket offers. If you’re a Southern California Resident living within ZIP codes 90000 to 93599, you can take advantage of the Southern California Resident Ticket. With this offer, you can enjoy three magical days at the Disneyland Resort through May 15, 2025. It’s an excellent way to experience the spring festivities, including the vibrant California Adventure Food & Wine Festival!

Another exciting option is the Kids’ Special Ticket Offer, available to all guests ages 3-9, regardless of residency. With this offer, you can purchase a 1-, 2-, or 3-day ticket for just $50 per day (prices subject to change), valid for visits through March 20. This is a fantastic opportunity to let little Mouseketeers experience all the joy and wonder Disneyland has to offer!

I hope this information helps you determine your next steps, Henry! If you have any other questions about ticketing or planning your Disneyland Resort visit, please don’t hesitate to stop by planDisney again. After all, as Mickey says, “See ya real soon!”

Wishing you a magical day filled with pixie dust and possibilities!
