Are strollers safe in the designated parking areas? Should I bring a lock or is the area monitored?

Hi, Shara! I think that strollers are safe in Walt Disney World.  There are Cast Members around the stroller parking areas all the time.  I have never personally had anything bothered.  Once, during a quick afternoon thunderstorm, I even returned to find someone (a Cast Member or another park Guest) had covered our stroller with a piece of plastic.  I guess bad things can happen anywhere, but it seems at Walt Disney World people tend to look out for each other.  This comes from someone who has twice lost her video camera and had it turned in to lost and found.  With that being said, I wouldn't leave anything too valuable or irreplaceable in the stroller.  A backpack works well for my family.  The Cast Members often rearrange the strollers to maximize parking, so I wouldn't suggest a lock.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
