Are strollers that you rent by private organizations like Orlando Stroller allowed on the monorail, boats and buses within Walt Disney World? Are they easy to fold and handle when moving around? Thanks,

    Hi Joy,

Virtually all personal and non-Disney rental strollers are welcome on the Disney transportation system, including the buses, boats, and monorails. (The Disney rental strollers have to stay in the parks.) I have many friend who have rented from Orlando Stroller rentals with great success. You can see on their website the style and model of stroller which you'll be renting. I have heard no reports that their strollers are any more challenging to fold than any other stroller, but if you have concerns, you could visit a baby supply store in your home town to practice with a model similar to the rental brand.

If you're not bringing your own stroller, the next best option typically is a rental from a local agency. These are generally more comfortable and give you more flexibility than the rentals in the parks.

For additional information on the stroller rental situation at Disney World, you may want to visit the Stroller FAQ page on the independent website TouringPlans.com. Copy/paste - http://blog.touringplans.com/2013/10/30/frequently-asked-questions-strollers-disney-world/

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
