Hey there, Vicky! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with such a great question.
I am "Team Stroller" all the way and always brought or rented a stroller on every
Walt Disney World vacation when my daughter was younger. Little feet can get tired and slow and need a rest when walking around the parks, plus, I loved using the stroller to help carry my big bags of souvenirs. It looks like your magical adventure starts tomorrow (YAY!), so let's get to it!
All the
stroller rental areas are conveniently located right at the park entrances. To find the stroller rental area in Magic Kingdom, just head to the right after tapping into the park. As you're walking under the train station, look left to find the stroller rental area tucked away under the train station. In Animal Kingdom, after you tap in, head to the right and find the stroller rental area at Garden Gate Gifts. There is always "Stroller Rental" signage, so the locations will be easy to spot.
You'll find single and double-stroller rentals available, and you can rent your double-stroller for the day or pre-pay for the number of days you'll need it. Just be sure to save your receipt in a safe place, as this is how you'll claim your rental at each park.
While strollers are available for rent on a first come, first served basis, Disney has a lot of strollers on hand (and I mean A LOT). I have never had an issue with stroller availability, even on the busiest of days. Hakuna Matata, Vicky! It means "no worries." You should have no issues with availability on your visit.
One more tip! Just be aware that after you've parked your stroller in the designated stroller parking, it is possible that a Cast Member may move your stroller to organize them or make more space for others. Once you're off the attraction, if your stroller isn't exactly where you left it, just look around that general area. It just means that a Cast Member has moved it to a slightly different location. The easiest way to quickly determine which stroller is yours is to tie a bright ribbon or a balloon on the handle to make it easy to spot in a sea of strollers.
I hope this helps, Vicky, and I hope you and your little Mouseketeers have the most magical and memorable time! With rested little feet, I just know you will. Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have. You've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon,
Mandy
