Welcome back to planDisney, Sarah!
I am so glad you asked this question--it's a great one!
You'll be happy to know that strollers are allowed on all
Walt Disney World resort and theme park buses. As noted on the link for
Walt Disney World Bus Service, strollers must be folded and stowed out of the aisle. With so many families traveling with little ones throughout the parks and resorts, you'll see lots of strollers being lifted onto buses as another adult carries the littlest princesses and princes onboard.
When our kids were stroller age and we frequented WDW often, I picked up two identical umbrella strollers that were quick to fold, but also rugged enough for long days of touring, with room to tuck a sizable bag below. (And a snap-on plastic cover--that was clutch for sudden rain storms, keeping kiddos, seating surfaces, and bags dry.) This made park hopping on any type of
Resort Transportation a snap.
Of course, guests can also take advantage of WDW's
Stroller Rentals--especially helpful if you need a backup or decide you'd like a stroller after you've already arrived at the park. All are located just inside park entrance, so the pickup and drop-off locations are super-convenient. There was a time when our littles didn't need a stroller at home, but when looking at a full day of EPCOT fun and 24,000 adult steps in that day, we'd opt to rent a stroller. Everybody's happy when those strollers--not Mom or Dad--carry tired little legs, popcorn buckets, plus bags filled with hand sanitizer, snacks, sunscreen, and water bottles. Phew. My back is still thankful for those stroller rentals!
Sarah, as you plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth with your little one, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
