Can you use stroller flags at Disney World?

    Welcome to planDisney, Heather!

Thank you for visiting us right before your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Just a couple more days and you'll be soaking up the sunshine and magic. Hooray!

I double-checked the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules and sure enough, it specifically states "...flags and banners are not allowed in any theme park or water park." With the sea of strollers to navigate I completely understand your desire to not only have your stroller stand out, but also be able to see your party in the crowd and perhaps I can offer a few other ideas that will be allowed.

Although flags and telescopic items such as selfie sticks are not allowed, you can purchase a Disney balloon on Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom Park and tie it to the handle of your stroller. The balloons are huge and last for several days. We used to do this and bring a brightly colored ribbon to tie to the balloon string. That same ribbon can be used to tie to the stroller handle to help locate it or even your bag/backpack to help others in your party find you. Please be advised that balloons are not allowed at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Another idea would be to create a custom tag for your stroller that hangs from the handle. While it may be too late to order one before your stay, if you search the internet for one it may give you an idea of how to create something fun before you leave.

While we are discussing strollers, some Disney transportation such as the monorail and the Disney Skyliner usually let you leave your strollers open while using them. Although I am now out of those stroller days, I remember making our transportation choices based on that factor many times.

Have a wonderful trip, Heather, and thank you again for stopping by.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
