How strictly are the ages of the kid's clubs adhered to aboard ship? We will have a just-turned-11-year-old in our party who will likely want to hang out with the 9 and 10 year olds in our group. Can they go to the same kids' club?

    Ahoy Melanie!

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question!  I know you are looking forward to a magical voyage onboard Disney Cruise Line!  I have great news for you!  Disney Cruise Line does allow children ages 3-12 to enjoy the Oceaneer Club and Lab.  This is a recent change so your newly turned 11 year old will be able to hang out in the youth spaces with the others in your group.  I do recommend registering for the kids' programming prior to sailing in the Planning Center on DisneyCruise.com.  Once you board the ship, you can check out the spaces as a family during the Open House and pick up identification bracelets for everyone in your crew.  If you don't have time to register before you set sail, you can always do it during the Open House.

The kids in your group are going to have an amazing time participating in the youth programming on board!  My children love the imaginative spaces, variety of activities and awesome youth counselors!  They have so much fun that I have a hard time getting them to leave!

Please let me know if you have any further questions!  I'd love to help!

    Have a wonderful day!
