How strict is WDW on the 4 person occp. rule? We are trying to pick a resort for 5 - me, DH & 3 kids(17, 7 and 4). Would really like WL, but not the extra $ of a villa. Would we be allowed to stay in a standard room or will we have to go to POR w/ trun

Hey Nicole and I too have a family of 5.  I can tell you from experience they will truly only let you stay in rooms that can accommodate 5 and unfortunately the WL is not one of them.  I am right there with you, and I tried it but they ever so politely told me I would have to select another resort.
We have stayed at POR with the trundle and my girls loved the trundle.  There are some deluxe resorts that can accommodate 5 like the Poly, GF and BW.  The cabins might also be a great alternative too look at as well.
I wish I could have given you a different answer, but unfortunately on this one they will stick to room regulations.  Thanks for the great question, and if you have anymore, I hope you will come back and visit the Mom's Panel.
