I am on a strict diet are there healthy low carb / low fat snacks available at the parks

    Hi Dana,

Eating healthy at the Walt Disney World Resorts has never been easier. Since I first started visiting the parks regulary in the late '90s, these options have steadily increased.

Each park, as well as Downtown Disney, you will find fresh fruit stands. These will have not only fresh fruit but veggies as well. There also quick service restaurants such as Sunshine Seasons in Epcot that offer health snacks as part of their regular menu. In World Showcase, you will even find cheese in France and other low carb options.

Another way to grab a healthy snack is when you order your lunch or dinner at a quick service restaurant. You can substitute fries for a bag of grapes or carrots. I do this to have a snack later in the day.

You can visit the menus on the Walt Disney World website or visit the Disney Food Blog to plan ahead. The Disney Food Blog has great information about all things food at the Walt Disney World Resorts.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
