Strange question. I noticed at Restaurantosaurus that they have a plant based spicy southwest burger. Does anyone know if the plant based burger can be replaced with a regular meat patty?

Thanks for bringing another question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Donald!

As a vegan, I’ve been so excited to see the more than 400 new plant-based dishes introduced to various menus throughout Walt Disney World Resort in the last few weeks. Prior to this awesome new variety, though, my family of vegetarians and I often had to make the opposite request of yours as we would ask for the plant-based “meat” to be included instead of the animal meat in various dishes. As long as the item was available at the restaurant, we have never had a problem asking for those kinds of substitutions.

Please be aware that the “Pepper Jack” that comes on the Spicy Southwest Burger at Restaurantosaurus is also plant-based (not a dairy-based cheese). If you have sensitivities to soy or any of the other ingredients in the plant-based options, just ask to see the list of ingredients before you order your meal.

Enjoy your return visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Donald, and please let us know if you have any additional questions. You know we’re always happy to help!
