Do any of the stores at the Magic Kingdom and/or Downtown Disney have a gift wrap option available at the registers when purchasing an item? We'll be celebrating my son's 4th birthday there next week!

    Hi Jennifer,

Unfortunately there are no shops at the Magic Kingdom or Downtown Disney that offer gift wrapping services. Some stores do have boxes and tissue available to facilitate transport of fragile items, but there is no decorative wrapping service.

I've just been through hundreds of photos I've taken of the merchandise at Disney shops and don't even see wrapping paper sold at the parks so that you could wrap items yourself. On the plus side, tape and scissors are sold in some of the shops on Disney property. You could buy those tools on site, or perhaps even borrow them from the front desk of your hotel. If you want to use festive paper to wrap your son's gifts, you should plan to bring it yourself. Or if you have access to a car, you could visit a nearby drugstore to purchase paper.

If you're in the mood to be creative, you could use park maps as wrapping paper for small items. You could also use newspaper or the readily available Disney parks plastic bags as gift wrap. In any case, I'm guessing your son will be so busy having a great time celebrating his birthday at Walt Disney World, that he won't even notice the paper on his gifts.

Good luck with your planning and please let us know if you have additional questions.
