Hi there I would like to store our suitcases on our last day and visit a park before we get a late flight home is there an option to store large suitcases at a Disney park?

    Hi there, Abbie!

We're so happy you found your way to planDisney with your question. Your visit is just a few short days away, and I bet you are eager to get your plans in place and your luggage packed. I'm glad you are asking this question now as it may help you decide what to bring and if you can squeeze it into a carry-on! Let's jump right into your question and send you on your way!

If you are staying at a hotel on the property or nearby, my best advice would be to ask Bell Services to store your luggage for the day. If you are a Guest of the Disneyland Resort Hotels, Bell Services is happy to hold your luggage on your check-out date until it is time for you to leave for the airport. You would simply leave it with them before you head into the parks for the day. If you are staying at a Good Neighbor Hotel or other accommodations, I'd recommend contacting their front desk to confirm that this service is also offered by them.

If you are hoping to pop into the parks on your way to the airport and aren't staying locally, there are lockers of varying sizes available to rent, subject to availability:

    • Small Lockers: 9.5" wide x 11" high x 18" deep
    • Medium Lockers: 12.5" wide x 17" high x 18" deep
    • Large Lockers: 15" wide x 16.6" high x 22.6" deep
    • Extra-Large Lockers: 15" wide x 23" high x 22.6" deep
    • Jumbo Lockers: 18" wide x 25" high x 37" deep

While the small and medium-sized lockers are available within the parks, traveling from the UK with a suitcase in tow, I would expect that you may need a larger size locker, likely the jumbo. Luckily, these are located in the Main Entrance Esplanade before you scan into the parks which makes it extra convenient so you can drop them off before you start your day. If you are looking at the entrance to Disneyland Park, head to the left. You will see some lockers visible to your right, but keep going until you see a picnic area where you will find the jumbo-sized lockers tucked back in a corner. You can also locate these on the Disneyland App if you tap the map icon, scroll across the top to "Guest Services", tap "Show List" and select "Lockers". In my experience, these lockers would fit at most a carry-on and a small personal item, so be sure to check the dimensions. If you're finding yourself needing to do some creative packing to fit into a locker, I will say that my friend challenged me to only take a rolling carry-on for our 4 night sailing on the Wish last summer, and I made it work! So it can be done!

Using the lockers will require you to pass through theme park security with your luggage. One thing I like to recommend is to take a look at the park rules and non-permitted items to make sure you are in the clear here in terms of contents and sizing to avoid any surprises.

Abbie, I hope this was helpful in your planning, and I'm wishing on a star that you have clear skies and a smooth arrival to the Happiest Place on Earth! If you are hoping to maximize your time in the magic, I recommend adding Lightning Lane Multi Pass to your tickets. This will give you access to Lightning Lanes on select attractions so you can skip the standby queue and optimize your time in the parks.

I hope this was helpful! Feel free to stop by again for more tips. We are always here for you at planDisney.

    Magic awaits!
