Is there a store somewhere within the resorts that I can go to and shop? I am going in August with my 22 month old and I would like for him to have his favorite snacks without bringing them on the plane. Thanks!

    Hi Nancy,

The choices are limited within the Walt Disney World Resorts for snacks.  Each resort has a small general store which may or may not have the snacks your son would like.

There are grocery stores outside of Disney World which you can purchase food from.  If you are renting a car, Albertsons or Publix are two reasonably priced stores.  Also, Happy Limosine offers a grocery stop just for that reason.

You can order groceries for delivery. Goodings is one company and is recommended by Mousesavers.com.  They have a $50 minimum and $20 charge.

Another is greengrocer.com but am not sure of this company's policy.

I always pack my kids snacks from home and take them on the plane.  This leaves me room in my suitcase for the souvenirs on the return trip.

Another thought is to ship them directly to your hotel.

    Have a great trip!
