Can I store my luggage in a Disney resorts for a few days? Like I will be checking out from Saratoga springs but I will be going to palm beach for a few days and will be coming back to stay in a different Disney hotel?

Hi Maha, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you’ve got an epic Florida vacation coming up. I also like to travel light, so I totally understand not wanting to bring all of your luggage to Palm Springs. Especially if you buy a lot of Disney goodies during the first part of your trip!

Now let’s talk about what to do with your bags. Bell Services at Disney Resort hotels will store your luggage on the days you’re checking in and out. For instance, on check-in day, if you arrive at Saratoga Springs Resort before your room is ready, you can leave your bags with Bell Services. I’ve taken advantage of this complimentary service many times since I usually head to the parks on both my check-in and check-out days. Unfortunately, Bell Services isn’t able to store bags while you’re not staying at the resort. However, there are many luggage storage companies around the Orlando area, so that might be an option if you don't want to bring everything with you to Palm Beach.

Saratoga Springs is a fun place to stay because there’s so much to do nearby. My sister is an avid golf player, so being right on the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course is big selling point! For me, I love that Disney Springs is just a short boat ride away. If you’ll be there on the weekend, my must-do brunch spot is Wine Bar George, even if you’re not a wine drinker (which I’m not). I still dream of the delicious Burrata I had there!

Some of my other favorite restaurants include Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ and Summer House on the Lake. Summer House has a beautiful patio overlooking the water and I like their cookies more than the ones at Gideon’s Bakehouse. I know, it’s a hot take! You can pop in to buy treats from the bakery even if you’re not staying for a meal. If you do want to try the cookies from Gideon's (they are also very yummy!), swing by and check if they have a virtual queue that day. If they do, I'd recommend joining as soon as you get to Disney Springs since it can be a few hours long on a busy day.

I hope you have a pixie-dusted adventure in Florida! And if you have any more questions before you trip, we’d love to have you back at planDisney.
