    I am stopping at the Coronado on 01/oct and was wondering if it is possible to actually request a room at ranchos 7b or cabanas 8a as I have two young boys and I have heard these seem to be the closest to the dig site.

    You are welcome to make a request for a specific room configuration or a specific room location. While these requests are not guaranteed, Disney does work hard accommodate as many guest room requests as possible. To make a request, simply call Disney reservations at 407-W-DISNEY (having your confirmation number is helpful). The reservation staff will look up your booking and make a note of your request on your file. It also helps to follow-up on your request a few days before your arrival at WDW.
