    We are going to be stopping at Castaway Cay as part of our cruise in February and would like to snorkel during our time there. We have masks and snorkels but not fins for our family. Do they rent snorkel fins on the island and if so, how much are they?

    Castaway Cay is a fun place to snorkel with the family. Disney has hidden all sorts of treasures under the sea in the snorkel area off Family Beach, and we love to see what we can spot amongst the fish.

    On the island you can rent snorkeling gear, or as you mentioned, bring your own. All guests must wear the life jackets that are provided free of charge so that you are easily spotted from shore. If you only need to rent the fins, you can do so. Prices are always subject to change, but last time I was there I believe they were between $10 and $15 for the fin rentals. 

    If you have room in your suitcase, you might consider picking up some of your own at home and bring them with you. Then you'd have them for future snorkeling trips to go along with your masks and snorkels. But, if you do opt to rent, there are plenty, so you shouldn't have to worry about them running out before you get to snorkel that day.
