We are stopping in Aruba, Barbados, St Kitts, Martinique, Puerto Rico & of course, Castaway Cay. Is it recommended to carry your passport with you when you leave the ship at any of these ports?

    Ahoy, Karen!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I always love helping a fellow Georgian, so I'm glad you are hEAR! You've chosen a WONDERful sailing to the Southern Caribbean! My husband and I sailed this particular itinerary before and loved experiencing these beautiful islands with a new breathtaking view each day. It's super convenient to only unpack once, but get to explore "minnie" tropical places on one vacation!

You've asked a great question, Karen. Personally, my family does not take our passports ashore. Once onboard, I put them in the stateroom safe where they remain until the final morning. I do make a copy of each family member's passport and keep those with me in my bag when we debark in each port. Each Guest is required to take their "Key to the World" card and a government-issued photo ID (over 16) when they disembark. I've never needed our passports in port since only "Key to the World" cards are scanned both leaving and returning to the ship, and photo IDs are shown on the pier.

I'm excited for you to experience this MAGICal voyage with Disney Cruise Line. I hope it's all that you DREAM it to be! Please come back to visit us again if you have additional questions about your sailing. Your FANTASY will be a reality before you know it!
