Welcome back to planDisney, Lizette! You'll be arriving for your
Walt Disney World Resort autumn adventure soon, so let's talk about my favorite topic: FOOD!
Nothing beats a tall stack of warm pancakes, so I understand your desire to enjoy this yummy dish during your visit. I've enjoyed dinner at
Steakhouse 71, but not breakfast. If you do dine there, you'll have to report back!
I chatted with a sweet and fluffy Cast Member who said seasonal offerings often change depending on ingredient availability and the particular chef on duty. This is why the actual dishes aren't always listed on the menu at many table service locations. I know that's not the news you hoped to hear, but I have some suggestions.
You can
cancel dining up to two hours before your arrival, so I recommend making a reservation a day or two into your visit. You can hop aboard the resort monorail to
Disney's Contemporary Resort from Magic Kingdom Park and ask about current offerings at the
Steakhouse 71 host stand. If the seasonal offering isn't the delectable pumpkin flavor you seek, you could cancel your reservation on the spot.
In the meantime, you can opt for a seasonal Pumpkin Lunch Box Tart at
Woody's Lunch Box at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Over at EPCOT, I recommend Werther's Original Caramel Gingerbread at
Karamell-Küche. This soft cookie combines fall flavors with a drizzle of gooey caramel for the perfect autumn treat. And don't forget to check out the pumpkin-spice offerings at the
Starbucks® locations in all four theme parks.
Lizette, I'm sending pixie dust and nutmeg so your visit will be spicy and spectacular! Thanks again for stopping by
planDisney. Happy fall, ya'll!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
