    Staying@CSR 1/6-1/9, 3A, DD22&DS15. Arrival 1/6 @5AM, need to be@sports complex@noon for packet pickup, running half 1/8. Annual passes, cant decide which parks which days & where to eat dinner 1/7. Don't care about HollywoodStudios. 1st visit-plea

    Nicole,

    Way to go on the ½ Marathon! I whined after running the Expedition Everest 5K last year, so you are my inspiration!

    Also, you’ll LOVE Coronado Springs! A great resort that gets overlooked!

    As for getting to packet pick-up, you should find that they run special buses there from the selected event-specific resorts. If you are not at an ‘authorized’ resort for the event, frankly I would just cab it there, as using Disney transportation to get there otherwise will be a HUGE waste of time.

    Now let’s remember that this is your first visit to Walt Disney World! You really need to visit the Magic Kingdom! But with only adults and older kids, I would focus on Epcot.
    Here are the daily plans I would use;

    • January 6 – Magic Kingdom (all day, with cab/bus to packet pickup and back)
    • January 7 – Epcot
    • January 8 – Running (please burn off a few thousand calories for me, would you?)
    • January 9 – Park of Choice

    As for the 1.7 dinner, you can carb load at Via Napoli, Tutto Italia, or Il Mulino. All good choices!
    Good luck, and let me know if can help more!

    Have a magical vacation!
