    Hi, we are staying at the yacht club and are thinking of hiring a cabana at stormalong bay We would like to invite four of our friends to join us. They areOrlando Residents. I know Disney has a strict policy on their pools so would this be allowed

    Hi, Julie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for diving in with this great question! We frequently stay at Disney's Beach and Yacht Club Resorts. Their location just outside Epcot cannot be beaten. It makes for convenient and magical evenings, as we enjoy dining around the World (the World Showcase, that is!) each evening. When you add in the absolutely amazing Stormalong Bay? Well, then it's a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious spot to stay!

    The poolside cabanas are such a fantastic addition to this feature pool. Renting a cabana provides two things that cannot always be guaranteed in the Florida summer by the pool - shade and lounge chairs for the family! Those two things right there are decision-makers in my book. Your family will also enjoy such amenities as padded furniture, cast member pool attendants, towels, a lockable safe, a mounted TV with cable access, and a mini-refrigerator stocked with soda and water. Prices fluctuate upon the season and always subject to change, so call (407) 939-7529 when you are ready to reserve your spot.

    Walt Disney World Resort does limit guests at their Disney Resort Hotel pools to guests staying at the resort. There are Cast Members near the entrance points that scan MagicBands of each guest entering the pool area. At times, we have been given wrist bands to wear to show that we had already been scanned. This restriction does also apply to guests renting cabanas, so unfortunately, you will need to find a different spot to meet up with your friends. If you want to have a splashtastic day with them, then I highly recommend a day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.
