I will be staying at yacht club july 4-6 with dw&dd. we would like to get to rope drop at MK before checking in. we will be arriving from the rosen center hotel from Irish step dancing nationals. will we be able to get her magic bands early enough ?

Hey there, Brendan! Oh how I miss the days of feisanna - curling hair, polishing shoes, making sure that solo dress was dry cleaned and picked up (we almost missed Oireachtas once because we forgot to pick the dress up!).

Okay, so if you are staying at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, you can check in online and customize your MagicBands in your My Disney Experience account. The MagicBands will be mailed to you in advance, and you'll have them on you when you get to Orlando, so heading into the Magic Kingdom theme park right at rope drop should be no problem. Online check in is easy peasy, and they'll even text you your room number, so when you are finished after a long day at the theme park, you can take those tired dancing feet right to your room.

Good luck to your daughter at Nationals! Something I learned from Cinderella - give a girl the right pair of shoes, and she can conquer the world. I hope your princess rocks those ghillies.
