Staying in WL 4/19-26 & worry my 9 mo won't sleep well in the pack-n-play, keeping the 3yo awake. Don't want to rent a real crib off-site. What bedding do I bring for pack-n-play & will I need to cushion it? Any advice on helping little folk slee

    Hi Holly,

I bet you are so excited! You are within days on your Disney trip. My three boys have spent many nights sleeping in the Disney pack-n-plays. There is bedding included with the pack-n-play, however I always like to pack my own. I always brought a few sheets and light blankets with me just in case of a nighttime accident. I would be careful on trying to pad the pack-n-play with any additional bedding due to safety concerns.

I am pretty sure to us the pack-n-play would not be a very comfortable place to sleep, but to a small child exhausted from a day of fun at Disney World, I think the comfort level is just fine for them. If you are concerned the baby may not drift off in the pack-n-play, something that has worked for us is to let the baby fall asleep on the bed with you and then transfer him once he has dozed off.

Another thought would be to try and re-create their night setting in the hotel room, for example if they like to sleep to music-leave the radio on, or bring their night light with to use in the room. We have often found that a quick dip in the pool or a warm bath is another great way to relax the kids before heading to bed.

Wishing you lost of peaceful nights and amazing days!
