Staying at WL (in October) have reservations at Ohana at 7:55am. What is the best way to get to Poly? Should we use Disney transportation or taxi? How much for taxi? Thank you!!!

This is a classic taxi situation.

As the crow flies, the Wilderness Lodge is less than a mile away from the Polynesian. In a taxi, this takes about five minutes and costs less than $10, probably more like $7. The cast members at the front of the Wilderness Lodge can call you a cab quickly and easily. To get to your Ohana reservation with plenty of time to spare, I would leave the WL at 7:30.

As you are no doubt aware, there are no direct resort-to-resort routes with WDW transportation. So getting from the WL to the Poly using Disney transport is more complicated. You're going to need to walk down to the WL boat dock and get a boat headed to either the Contemporary or the Magic Kingdom, whichever comes first. From there, you'll transfer to the resort-line monorail to the Poly. With the longer waits for transportation and the transfer time, I'd want you to leave the WL by 7:00 a.m.

For me, the taxi seems like the clear winner.
