Hi Moms! Staying at WL with DH, DS6, DS2 for 10 nights in a woods view, bunk bed room. Where should we request a room, would pass on a central location for a great view. Any other auggestions while staying at the WL, first time on site. Thanks so much!

    Hi Allison!

The Wilderness Lodge is wonderful. The kids especially love the bunk beds and the wonderful activities available at this resort.

I've heard that the better rooms are on floors 4, 5 and 6, because they offer more of an unobstructed view of the woods. Request a room on an upper level floor that faces the Magic Kingdom on the North side of the building. You may get to see Wishes from your balcony.

I heard that rooms 6604-6030 have the best views.

While WDW can't guarantee a specific room, they will do their best to meet your request.

In regards to other suggestions while staying at Fort Wilderness, the Artist Point is an amazing dining locale there. Make sure to spend a day at the pool also, the kids especially will love it. You will not want to miss the Chip-n-Dale Campfire Sing-a-Long! You should also make an Advanced Dining Reservation to one of the shows held at Fort Wilderness, either Hoop-Dee-Do Revue or Mickey's Backyard BBQ. They are both a blast!

I hope you have a magical stay!

    Magically,
    Stacy
