If we are staying at the WL, what is the easiest and fastest way to get to Epcot and HS for the Character Breakfasts? We will have our own car. Would it be faster to drive ourselves? We will be staying the 1st week of June 2010- not sure of crowds!

    HI again Daphne!

For transportation to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios, the quickest Disney transportation will be to use the bus system. You'll be able to catch a bus right to each of these parks from the bus station located at the front of the Wilderness Lodge.

For a slightly longer, but more interesting trip to/from Epcot, you can also choose to take a boat to the Magic Kingdom and then a Monorail or Ferry to the Ticket and Transportation Center. At the Ticket and Transportation Center, you'll then need to jump on the Monorail to Epcot.

If you prefer to drive (which may be slightly faster than the bus system, depending on the time of day and crowds) you'll be able to park at Epcot or Hollywood Studios and then walk or take a tram to the front entrance. Since our family drives from South Carolina to Disney World, we always have our own car as well. But, honestly, once we arrive at the Wilderness Lodge, we don't see it again until its time to leave! For us its simply more relaxing to hop on the bus and let someone else worry about traffic and parking!

    Have a great time! Enjoy!
