Staying at WL...does the boat go anywhere besides the MK? For example, if we have dinner at Chef Mickey's, are we better off driving, taking the bus, or taking the boat to MK then hopping on the monorail?

    Hi Amanda!

Congratulations on your upcoming stay at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort. Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful resort, with a 7 story lobby full of gorgeous pine decor and Native American touches, and convenient to the Magic Kingdom park.

Transportation to the parks is plentiful throughout the resorts. From boat launch to buses to monorail, the choice is essentially yours. At WL there are two different boat launches: One directly to Magic Kingdom, and one that access the three resorts on that side of Seven Seas Lagoond: Contemporary, WL and Fort Wilderness. You would need to take the blue boat launch which will stop at FW, WL and Contemporary...in that order in the mornings, and counter clockwise in the evenings. It will stop at these three resorts only.

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation! -Malanie
