We are staying within the park and I would like to know what you recommend: rent a car or using DW transpertation? We have two young childern.

    Hi Jessica!

That's a tough question. There are definitely advantages & disadvantages to both! And you'll find that people either LOVE Disney Transportation or HATE it.

Personally, I'm in the "love" category. Even though (or maybe because) our family drives to Walt Disney World from South Carolina, I don't want see the car again when we are on vacation. I don't want to have to think about where to go, traffic, where to park, or getting lost (even though Disney World is very well marked for where to go). I also don't think its quite fair to make either myself or my husband drive after a long, tiring day in the parks.

We simply rely on Disney Transportation and let them do all the logistics! We simply board a bus, boat or monorail and head to our destination knowing that they'll get us there and return us to our hotel when we are ready.

People often do complain that waiting for a bus takes time away from their vacation, but I'm not really sure that driving, parking, and traveling from the parking lot takes all that much less time.

So, there you have it... I say take Disney Transportation and leave it all to them!
