Staying at Wilderness Lodge with woods view Nov. 17-Nov. 23rd. Will be traveling with DH, DS3 and DD 7. Do you reccomend making a room request and if so where would you suggest requesting?

    Hi Lacey!

What a great time to visit Walt Disney World AND the Wilderness Lodge! The lodge is my favorite resort, but its even more special when decorated for the Holidays!!

The Woods View is our family's favorite view at the lodge as well. We prefer to be in the North Wing of the lodge, facing the Otter Pond/Magic Kingdom. If you look directly down from your balcony, some of these rooms overlook the smokehouse for Whispering Canyon, BUT through the trees you may have views of the Contemporary, Monorail and even small glimpses of Cinderella's Castle. At night, Wishes may be visible through the trees as well. While its not a "perfect" view of the Magic Kingdom and fireworks, this view really adds extra magic to our trip!

If you'd like to add a room request to your reservation, the best bet is to call 407-939-7675 (or contact your travel agent, if you've used one) and ask them to make a note. While room requests are never guaranteed, we've always had good luck with our requests. Hopefully you will too!

Hope you have a great trip!
