Staying at Wilderness Lodge Villas in April. The theming looks beautiful, and we're wondering if we can access the villa rooms by walking through the lobby of the hotel. Thanks very much!

    Hi Dana!

The Wilderness Lodge is my favorite resort at Walt Disney World! I hope you have a great time staying there!

While the villas are located in a separate building, with its own beautiful lobby, it is connected to the main lodge's lobby via a covered walkway. For many activities, you'll actually want to head to the main Lodge which is just a few minutes away. Things like resort check-in, the lobby concierge, restaurants and gift shops are located in the main lobby.

When using bus transportation, going through the main lobby will be a bit out of your way (but just a few minutes). From the boat dock, however, its just a slight detour to go walk through the lobby.

AND, don't forget - the lobby has lots of comfortable seating. Be sure to sit and relax for a few minutes near the fireplace or explore the lodge's nooks & crannies!

If the architecture of the main lodge building and villas peak your interest, be sure to check out the tour that one of the Rangers gives a few mornings each week. On the tour you'll hear about how the lodge was built, Native American influence and artifacts, and maybe even spot a Hidden Mickey or two!

    Enjoy the Lodge!
